1.Introduction
AECS Research Global (“ARG”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through www.arg-in.com (the “Website”) and in the course of our services, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have over it.
ARG is the controller responsible for your personal information. Delivery is provided through ARG Technocrats (India) and GEC Global PMS (Middle East), which may process your information on our behalf as part of providing our services.
We handle your personal information in accordance with the applicable data-protection laws of the jurisdictions in which we operate, including India (notably the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023) and the United Arab Emirates. Where we serve users in other regions, we seek to honour the protections those users are entitled to under their local laws.
2.Information we collect
Information you provide to us
- Enquiry and contact details — your name, email address, phone number, organisation and the content of your message when you submit an enquiry or contact form.
- Careers information — your name, contact details, CV/résumé and any information you include when applying for a role.
- Client portal data — account details and the project information associated with your engagement (for example status, milestones, bill-of-quantities and documents) where you are an authorised client user.
Information we collect automatically
- Usage data — basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, device, pages viewed and referring pages, collected to keep the Website secure and to understand how it is used.
- Cookies — necessary cookies used to operate the Website and the client portal. See our Cookie Policy for details.
3.How we use your information
We use your personal information to:
- respond to your enquiries and provide the information or services you request;
- assess and manage job applications and recruitment;
- provide and administer the client portal and project dashboards, scoped strictly to the projects assigned to you;
- operate, maintain, secure and improve the Website;
- communicate with you about our services where you have asked us to or where we have a legitimate interest in doing so; and
- comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
4.Our legal bases for processing
Where applicable data-protection law requires it, we rely on the following legal bases: your consent (which you may withdraw at any time); the performance of a contract with you; our legitimate interests in operating and promoting our business in a way that does not override your rights; and compliance with a legal obligation.
6.Client and project data
Confidential client and project data is held separately from public marketing content. Access to the client portal is restricted by role, and every client query is scoped to the projects assigned to that client — so one client can never see another client’s data. We treat project information as confidential and handle it in accordance with our engagement agreements.
7.Data retention
We keep your personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy — for example, to respond to your enquiry, manage your application, deliver your project, or meet legal, accounting or reporting requirements. When it is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it.
8.International transfers
ARG operates across Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and India. Your information may therefore be processed in, or transferred to, these and other countries. Where information is transferred across borders, we take steps to ensure it is protected by appropriate safeguards consistent with this Policy and applicable law.
9.How we protect your information
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction — including access controls, role-based permissions, strict per-client data scoping, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure handling of credentials and documents. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10.Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
- request deletion of your information;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- withdraw consent where we rely on it; and
- request a copy of your information in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
11.Children’s privacy
The Website is intended for a professional and business audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can remove it.
12.Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the Website where appropriate.
