AECS Research Global (ARG) was appointed as the comprehensive technical consultant for this significant municipal infrastructure project in North 24 Parganas. Managing the project from the initial feasibility stage to on-site execution, ARG delivered a state-of-the-art sports complex by combining rigorous master planning and engineering design with strict quality control and supervision, creating a vital asset for regional athletic development.
Strategic Planning and Engineering Design The development of the Sports Complex in the Basirhat Sub-division required a strategic approach to transform municipal vision into functional reality. ARG initiated the engagement with comprehensive Site Surveys and the preparation of a Detailed Project Report (DPR). This foundational phase ensured that the project was technically feasible and aligned with the region's specific needs. Our scope expanded into full-scale Architectural & Allied Engineering, where we delivered detailed designs for the facility's core structures and integrated essential systems including Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting, and HVAC. To ensure the complex served as a holistic community space, we also executed detailed Landscape Planning, creating an environmentally sustainable and aesthetically pleasing environment for athletes and visitors.
Financial Structuring and Procurement Management To safeguard the municipality's investment and ensure fiscal transparency, ARG provided critical Strategic Cost Advisory services. We prepared precise Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and managed the drafting of comprehensive Tender Documents. This administrative groundwork streamlined the procurement process, allowing the Baduria Municipality to select qualified contractors based on clear technical and financial benchmarks defined by ARG.
Technical Supervision and Execution Oversight Transitioning from design to the field, ARG served as the technical guardian of the project. Our team provided continuous Supervision & Quality Control, monitoring construction activities to ensure adherence to the approved drawings and safety standards. This role encompassed the day-to-day inspection of works, the preparation of detailed progress reports, and the rigorous Verification of Bills. By managing these critical execution details, ARG ensured that the infrastructure was delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
