AECS Research Global (ARG) is proud to announce a significant addition to its sports infrastructure portfolio. The Municipal Corporation of Faridabad (MCF) has awarded ARG the comprehensive mandate for the Architectural Planning, Design, and Engineering of the new Indoor Stadium at Sector-22, Faridabad.
This project serves as a strategic expansion of ARG’s footprint in the region, building upon our legacy of delivering high-performance public assets.
The Mandate: End-to-End Sports Infrastructure Delivery
The MCF has entrusted ARG with a holistic scope that bridges Government Advisory, Strategic Cost Advisory, and Architecture & Engineering Services. The project requires a seamless integration of structural robustness and specialized sporting functionality.
Key Scope of Work:
Forensic Site Investigation & Planning:
Execution of comprehensive Site Surveys and Soil Investigations, including topographic mapping and geo-technical testing.
While utilizing independent authority reports as a baseline, ARG is tasked with overseeing rigorous soil testing validation to ensure the structural foundation meets the specific load requirements of a large-span indoor arena.
Institutional DPR & IIT-Vetted Design:
Preparation of the Detailed Project Report (DPR) and detailed Engineering Design and Drawings.
To ensure the highest standards of safety and engineering excellence, all structural designs will be vetted by a Proof Consultant of NIT or IIT level before final approval by the Authority.
Specialized Sports Architecture:
Arena Flooring: Specification and design of professional-grade Vinyl Flooring for the main arena to meet international sporting standards.
Seating Dynamics: Planning for Tip-up seats for spectators and designing flexible spaces to accommodate Retractable Mobile Seating between the arena and fixed stands, maximizing venue versatility.
Comprehensive Civil & Architectural Execution:
Structural Works: End-to-end design of earthworks, RCC works, foundation, and plinth works.
Architectural Detailing: The design blends modern utility with aesthetic elements, featuring Stone Cladding, Canopies, and traditional elevation features such as Chatri and Gola.
Facility Integration: Design of all ancillary services including Rain Water Harvesting structures, underground water tanks, guard rooms, and extensive parking facilities with adequate lighting.
Interiors & Finishing: Detailed specification for acoustics, false ceilings, finishing of exterior/interior walls, and signage (indoor/outdoor).
Strategic Impact
This project underscores the Municipal Corporation of Faridabad's commitment to upgrading the city's athletic capabilities. For AECS Research Global, this engagement is an opportunity to demonstrate how Strategic Cost Advisory can deliver a state-of-the-art sporting venue that is both aesthetically iconic and financially viable.
